Questions Grow As McConnell Remains Hospitalized

McConnell, 84, has remained out of public view since he was admitted to a Washington-area hospital on June 14.

His office has provided only limited updates, most recently saying Monday that the Kentucky Republican “continues to improve” and remains engaged in Senate and Kentucky-related matters while Congress is out of session.

“The Senator continues to improve,” McConnell’s office said in a statement, adding that he appreciates the support and well wishes he has received during his recovery.
